Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how SLY Group LLC collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when customers, cleaning professionals, administrators, and visitors use the SLY Group website, booking pages, portals, secure communications, and related marketplace services.
This policy should be read with the Terms of Service. The platform is intended for adults age 18 or older.
Information we collect
Account and contact information: name, email address, phone number, service or home ZIP code, service address, access instructions, and system account identifiers.
Booking and property information: requested services, property type and condition, approximate size, schedule, add-ons, notes, photos or videos, estimates, assignments, job status, and cancellation or rescheduling requests.
Professional information: legal name, age confirmation, experience, languages, profile photo, service area, application status, worker payment model, and information needed for identity, screening, eligibility, payroll, or payout verification when those features are used.
Marketplace records: payment preference, price, payout and commission records, secure messages, immutable message originals, dispute and support records, ratings, reviews, moderation actions, and notifications. SLY Group does not collect or store raw payment-card numbers.
Technical and optional advertising information: authentication and session information, security and error logs, device and request information, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, booking-conversion events, and an approximate ZIP code derived by the hosting network from the visitor's connection. The visitor map stores the ZIP-level result, not a full IP address or a street address. Optional Meta advertising events are sent only after the visitor allows advertising cookies.
How we use information
We use personal information to create and secure accounts; process professional applications and bookings; match customers with providers; display relevant job and profile information; operate protected communications; provide estimates, commission records, notifications, support, ratings, and disputes; understand which ZIP-level service areas generate website visits; detect fraud, abuse, safety risks, and rule violations; maintain and improve the platform; comply with law; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Approximate network ZIP codes may be inaccurate, especially on mobile networks or when a visitor uses a VPN. If a person later supplies a ZIP code in a booking or profile, that supplied ZIP is used for the administrative map. Exact street addresses are never placed on the visitor map.
We may use contact information to send service messages about registration, bookings, assignments, disputes, safety, payments, or policy changes. Marketing messages, if introduced later, will include any choices required by law.
What participants can see
Before an assignment, professionals receive only the limited booking information needed to evaluate an opportunity. After an assignment, each participant may receive only the booking details reasonably needed to complete the service, including the service address and access instructions. Customer photos or videos are not available to unassigned professionals.
Any customer media made available for an assigned booking is confidential, limited to the booking purpose, and subject to the restrictions in the Terms of Service. SLY Group may use controlled viewing, watermarks, access records, reduced-resolution copies, download restrictions, and time-limited access. These measures reduce misuse but cannot guarantee that a person will not use another device or an operating-system screenshot function.
Customers see the assigned professional's approved photo, public name, SLY system number, rating status, and job status. Participants communicate using SLY system names. Real phone numbers and email addresses are not displayed to the other participant through the current platform.
Protected communications and moderation
The participant copy of a message may replace contact details, links, or prohibited language with stars. SLY Group preserves the original message unchanged in a restricted record for safety, moderation, support, and disputes. Authorized administrators may review the original record and intervene in a conversation but cannot rewrite the original message.
If masked calling or SMS relay is added, a communications provider may process phone numbers, call-routing information, and message metadata to provide that service. The other participant would continue to see a SLY relay identity rather than the private number where the feature supports it.
When we disclose information
We may disclose information to the customer or professional involved in a booking as described above; to hosting, storage, authentication, communications, payment, verification, screening, security, and support providers that process information for SLY Group; to professional advisers; or to a business successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect a person's safety, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce platform rules, or protect the rights and property of SLY Group, participants, or others. Service providers are expected to use information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their agreements and applicable law.
Payments and verification providers
Stripe collects and processes payment credentials under its privacy terms. SLY Group may receive transaction status, limited account information, refund and dispute records, and fraud signals, but does not receive or store a customer's full card number.
Identity, background-screening, licensing, insurance, payroll, or payout providers may separately collect information needed to perform requested checks or payments. The applicable provider's notice will be presented when such a feature is activated.
Cookies, sessions, and advertising
The platform uses cookies or similar storage that are necessary for sign-in, session continuity, security, preferences, and core site operation. These necessary technologies cannot be disabled through the site.
If a visitor chooses Allow advertising, SLY Group may use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to measure page visits and booking submissions, improve ad delivery, and avoid double-counting the same event. The visitor can choose Necessary only, reopen Privacy Settings in the footer, or use a supported Global Privacy Control signal to keep advertising tracking off.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate accounts and bookings, complete payments and commission records, handle disputes and safety matters, prevent fraud, meet legal and accounting obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of record and why it is needed.
Account closure or a deletion request may not remove information that must be retained for completed transactions, taxes, fraud prevention, safety, disputes, legal obligations, or legal claims. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it.
Security and data incidents
SLY Group uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including restricted portals, protected participant identities, controlled administrative access, private no-store media responses, and in-platform evidence capture that recreates photos without the original camera file's location metadata. No online service can guarantee absolute security or prevent every screenshot or external recording.
If a data incident occurs, SLY Group will investigate and provide notices to affected individuals or authorities when required by applicable law.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account by contacting SLY Group. You may also ask questions about how information is used. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request, and some requests may be limited by legal exceptions or retention requirements.
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable law, such as rights to know, correct, delete, obtain a copy, opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing, and appeal a denied request. SLY Group will not discriminate against a user for exercising an applicable privacy right. SLY Group does not sell personal information for money. Visitors can keep optional advertising tracking off through Privacy Settings.
Children, changes, and contact
The platform is not directed to children and is available only to people age 18 or older. SLY Group does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the marketplace.
We may update this policy as the platform, vendors, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will appear on this page, and material changes may be communicated through the platform or require a renewed acknowledgement.
Privacy questions or requests may be sent to Slygroupllc@gmail.com. Please do not send Social Security numbers, passwords, full payment-card numbers, or other highly sensitive information by email.
